Ch.1: A Noble Heritage

Ch.3: The Decision of Faith

After intense inner struggle, Christiana decided to follow Christ and was baptized publicly, shocking her family but transforming her life forever.

Ch.5: The Onset of Illness
蔡苏娟患上了严重的眼疾和疟疾，光线对她造成极大的痛苦，她不得不生活在完全黑暗的房间里。这是她信心最大的考验。
Christiana developed severe eye disease and malaria. Light caused extreme pain, confining her to a darkened room — the greatest test of her faith.
“医生说我的眼睛再也受不了任何光线。从此，我进入了暗室。/ The doctor said my eyes could no longer bear any light. From then on, I entered the dark chamber.”
