The fundamental physical constants are exquisitely 'tuned' to permit life — any slight variation would make life impossible. The best explanation is an intelligent Designer. Physicist Penrose calculated the probability of the universe's initial low-entropy state at 1 in 10^(10^123). Fine-tuning evidence spans multiple independent constants: the cosmological constant tuned to 1 in 10^120; strong nuclear force +2% eliminates hydrogen, -5% prevents fusion; gravity-to-electromagnetic ratio change of 1 in 10^40 prevents life-sustaining stars. This is a systematic phenomenon across dozens of parameters. Astrophysicist Fred Hoyle — a lifelong atheist — upon discovering carbon-12's precisely tuned resonance level wrote: 'A super-intellect has monkeyed with physics.' Stanford physicist Susskind acknowledges fine-tuning as 'one of the deepest puzzles in physics.' Only three explanations exist: physical necessity (rejected by physicists), chance (vanishingly improbable), or design. Design provides the simplest, most natural explanation. As Psalm 19:1 declares: 'The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.'
